According to clinical supervisor Kian Cooper, everyone in the building knew something was happening behind Poole’s office door — because of “loud noises relative to sexual activities.”
Cooper says he tried to end it over 100 times.
Each time?
She allegedly threatened to fire him.
“Find another job.” — Poole allegedly warned him.
Cooper claims the encounters happened 2–3 times per week, often at the start of his 6 a.m. shift, leaving him feeling trapped, disgusted, and terrified of losing his job — especially due to a past drug conviction that made employment crucial.
Poole denies everything.
She insists the relationship was consensual, that Cooper showered her with cards and gifts, and that she had no authority to fire him.
“He’s just making stuff up… I have proof of the intimate things he sent me,” she told reporters.
Cooper says otherwise — alleging he developed PTSD, took multiple medical leaves, and finally reported the situation in February 2024.
Shortly afterward, Poole allegedly told him:
“The sh-t you pulled was extremely foul. You hung me out to dry.”
Poole is no longer with Saint Joseph’s Medical Center.
Cooper still is.
His attorneys say this case highlights something society often ignores:
