Hollywood, Los Angeles — Authorities have identified the teenage girl found deceased in the trunk of a Tesla registered to rising music star D4vd.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed the victim as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had been missing from Lake Elsinore since early 2024. Officials listed her cause of death as “deferred,” pending further investigation.
Rivas’ remains were discovered on September 8 inside a tow yard near Mansfield Avenue and Romaine Street in Hollywood. According to LAPD sources, her body was found inside a bag in the Tesla’s front trunk, showing significant decomposition.
The Tesla is registered to 20-year-old singer David Anthony Burke, better known as D4vd, who rose to fame on TikTok and now boasts over 33 million monthly Spotify listeners. He is best known for hits like “Here with Me” and “Romantic Homicide.”
Authorities described Rivas as 5’2” tall, weighing 71 pounds, with wavy black hair. She was wearing a tube top, black leggings, a yellow bracelet, and stud earrings. Investigators noted a distinctive tattoo on her right index finger reading “Shhh…”
Detectives say she appeared to have been dead “for some time.” Investigators are seeking to interview the vehicle’s owner and anyone who may be linked to the case.
D4vd, who released his debut album in April and is currently on tour, has not publicly commented on the investigation. He is scheduled to perform in Los Angeles on September 20.
The shocking discovery has left fans stunned, with questions swirling around the tragic circumstances.
